Our greatest priority is to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment at Texas A&M University. Through dedicated partnerships and community engagement efforts, we serve our students, faculty, staff and visitors as they engage in research, education and outreach activities.

For Texas A&M groups hosting an event on campus, complete and submit the form a minimum of two weeks before your event to formally request UPD officers.

Report a crime, safety concern or suspicious activity – past or present – on the Texas A&M University College Station campus.

We believe in actively educating the community in all safety matters to help prevent crime from occurring in the first place. We offer a variety of programs on the subjects below and can tailor to your needs with proper scheduling.

Crime Alerts

 

Engage with the University Police Department through outreach initiatives and services tailored to campus safety at Texas A&M University.

The Field Operations Division is the fundamental service delivery team and provides patrol operations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It includes three sections: Criminal Investigations and the Victims' Advocate, Patrol and Security.

The Support Services Division is divided into six divisions: Clery and Accreditation, Communications, Property and Evidence, Records, Technology Services, and Training and Recruiting.

The Code Maroon app provides instant notifications for campus emergencies or warnings. Free for both iOS and Android devices, employees, students and visitors can quickly access safety tools and emergency contacts.
